Welcome to February on the North Fork! We went out to some of the Long Island wineries over the past weekend and I must say that we are really lucky to live in such a beautiful area. The roads are clear, and the wineries are open. February is a great time to come out to the North Fork. The wineries offer more personal attention, and you can enjoy them in a more peaceful atmosphere with fewer crowds. The Stirling House B&B is right in Greenport, which is the central town for the wine region. The Stirling House is about a five minute drive from the closest winery and our February guests get to enjoy complimentary wine at the inn as we are the only NYS wine licensed B&B on the North Fork!
